Corporate and privately owned jets also have flight attendants in many cases. The requirements for this position are in most cases very different from those of an airline and the height/weight proportions are not so restrict.
The duties of a Corporate/private Jet flight attendant could also vary depending on the company; some companies want a Cook or bartender, others a flight attendant that is more like a travel arranger that liaises with the people in destination and handles the passport clearances and/or any other travel related duties. The job requirements should be explained by the company and put on paper so that the candidate has an idea of what will be expected. We had a case where the Flight attendant was also tasked with translations upon arrival in a foreign country (the sky is the limit).
The Corporate Jet Flight Attendant course will teach you how to handle the most common in flight and on ground operations and covers a class on basic world geography.
This course is included in the ADVANCED CABIN CREW CERTIFICATION COURSE.
A private tutor will be assigned to you in order to assist you with the course completion and any questions you could have about the course.
The average completion time for this course is eight weeks and the maximum allowed time is one year but you can request an extra year extension based on personal reasons.
