Communication is the key factor in ANY job and having an accent is not a problem but being unable to understand a passenger is imperative and not understanding a message could be a very big issue and create an incident and for that reason the knowledge of the Airline operating language is something that should be considered before applying for a position with them. While most local Airlines just make their announcements/communication in their local language, for international travels the knowledge of English has become a must if you are to be one of their staff.
The English for Airline Crew course focuses mainly in In Flight vocabulary and Customer service/ ground staff scenarios and will prepare you to be able to assist a passenger with the most common interactions in a plane and in a customer service desk/office.
A private tutor will be assigned to you in order to assist you with the course completion and any questions you could have about the course.
The average completion time for this course is eight weeks and the maximum allowed time is one year but you can request an extra year extension based on personal reasons.
